Angra dos Reis is a Brazilian municipality located in the micro region of Costa Verde, on the South Fluminense of the state of Rio de Janeiro.
Nowadays, due to the beauty of its beaches and the nearby regions, Angra became a strong point of tourism not only statewide but also nationally. Highlights for the the beaches of Guaratecaia, Mambucaba and Conceição de Jacareí (Mangaratiba district), besides the beach of Sororoca.

Among the islands, the highlights are the Jipóia and its famous das Flechas and Dentista beaches, the living aquarium of the Botinas islands and untouched paradises of AAventureiros and Lopes Mendes on Ilha Grande.
In Angra you might discover the architecture of the mansions of the seventeenth and eighteenth century, dozens of churches, being the oldest one built in 1593, the Convent of São Bernardino de Sena, The Museum of Sacred Arts, among others.
